After cremation, the family member does follow for 12 days as mourning period. Along the days, the family members are not allowed to eat certain vegetables, meats. The family members are only allow wearing white cloths and white shoes. Using the leather wears is prohibited. On the 12th days, the Hindu priest will come and organize puja ceremony with using specific mantra in the name of the decreased one.
