On this day we take you to the biggest and worldwide known Slovenian cave system – the Postojna caves. Amazing two million years old and 21 km long system of underground caves is one of the most easily accessible networks of underground caves in the world. First, you will experience the ride by electric train, after that, a guided walk will follow through a series of cave halls with drop stones, pillars, and translucent curtains that create unforgettable impressions. The underworld system is home to the mysterious, unique, and rare amphibian Proteus Anguinus, or "baby dragon" as it is popularly called here. Back in the daylight, the trip will continue towards the astonishing castle of the robber knight Erasmus. All geared up, the guides led you thru a forest path sharing local uses of the plants seen along the forest trail. at the caves entrance, the guide shares information as to the seven caves layout, kayaking equipment familiarization and kayak route. here you will notice awesome large cave entrances with a crystal clear river flowing thru it. as you paddle you will go thru a series of caves, see many formations. the guide will show you places to stop and rest and enjoy a refreshing swim. the paddling continues thru the caves systems until you arrive at the exit where the sunlight glitters on the water, and the birds can be heard singing on the river bank. here we store our gear, use the facilities and prepare for the return drive home.

Thor Heyerdahl (1914-2002) gained worldwide fame when he crossed the Pacific Ocean on the balsawood raft Kon-Tiki in 1947. Welcome to Mexico City & the Ancient City of Gods! Hola! I´m Gio a local graduate intern of INAH (National Institute of Anthropology and History) and certified licensed tour guide. We´ll begin our experience by meeting at Parque Mexico located in the center of Condesa. In Mexico we have a local saying: "full belly, happy heart". So before going out to explore Teotihuacan we´ll first stop at a local bakery (10 min drive) where you can get a nice morning coffee/pastry afterwards we'll head out to learn about the Sun pyramid, Moon pyramid and Quetzalcoatl Temple. Join me and explore this fascinating city that holds many stories and mysteries. We'll explore the monuments, residential areas and fascinating mural paintings. Learn the process to how they were able to make the morter to glue the stones together. Discover the different colors that were used by the local people to decorate the city. Walk through some of the old paths the ancestors once stood on. Marvel at the magnificent size of one of the most important religious and influential centers in Mesoamerica. This is a self-guides tour. The limestone in the caves of Wombeyan Karst Conservation Reserve is 430 million years old. The geological processes that have created the magnificent cave system you see today continue to work their magic. You'll notice the impressive cave decorations, including stalactites and stalagmites, that are created by the infiltration of water into the caves. • Parking is available at Kui Kiosk and need to leave the cave by 4.15pm. • The cave is accessed by a token, a 15min walk from the visitor centre. Ticket holders will need to collect a token from the visitor centre before heading to the cave entrance. • There is a steep, 500m gravel path to the cave entrance. • The ground in the cave can be slippery, so please take care. • The temperature in the cave is approximately 15˚C all year round. • Food is not permitted inside the cave. • The cave is not suitable for prams. • Please use the public amenities at the visitor centre as there are no toilets near the caves.
