The Canyon Baths The Húsafell locals who undertook the Canyon Baths project went to great lengths to keep the entire structure as environmentally unobtrusive, sustainable and true to the area’s heritage as possible. Choose from two geothermal pools of varying temperatures, 30-41°C (86-105°F), plus a cold-water spring at 10°C (50°F), each with a spectacular view of the surrounding canyon, mountains and glaciers. Led by a knowledgeable local guide in English, this year-round tour begins with a short ride from the Húsafell Activity Centre to the trailhead in the remote Icelandic Highlands. Pickup from your accommodation in Arequipa around 03:00am to start our journey to one of the deepest canyons in the world, taking the Yura road, bordering the Chachani mountain towards Pampa Cañahuas, habitat of the beautiful South American camelids, the vicuñas. Approximately, at 6:00 a.m. we will arrive at the town of Chivay; where we will enjoy our breakfast and then we will continue our drive for about 1 hour to arrive at Mirador de la Cruz del Cóndor, strategic point of observation of the Canyon and the spectacular flight of the Condor. We will return to the town of Chivay for lunch and to rest walking through the little streets. At 2:00 pm we will start our drive back to Arequipa, along the way we will visit the highest point between the Colca Canyon and Arequipa: Patapampa (4800m), from this place we can see the volcanic mountain range. We will be back to our accommodation in Arequipa around 5pm.

Making our way through the rural countryside of East Iceland we'll travel along the valley of Jökuldalur and visit the Rjúkandi Waterfall before we head to Stuðlagil canyon. After long day of exploring we will continue our travel to the ever relaxing Vök Baths and soak ourselves in the therapeutic water. The "Family-Fun" is, as the name tells us, our first-stept-Canyoningtour. An easy tour for our youngest SKYclimber-friends, starting from 6 years. Because of a short uphill walk to the starting point, lots of fun in the water and the possibility to exit anytime this tour is perfect for our all kind of beginner! Two jump-possibilities (minimum 10cm but up to 7 meter possible), two abseiling spot from 8 meters and a little cave guarantee your adventure and turns this tour into a wonderul experience. The valley is very varied and definitely everyone (who enjoy water) can join this marvellous tour!

The 1-day Colca tour, we begin with the pick-up of passengers from their respective lodgings at 2:45 to 3:30 AM, then go to the town of Chivay, where we will stop for breakfast this will be approximately 6:30 A.M Then we can buy the tourist tickets, then we will continue our journey towards the Cruz del Condor with a time of 1 hour and 30 minutes, at the Cruz del Condor we can appreciate the formation of the canyon and the flight of the Condor, later we will go to visit the natural viewpoints of Wayrapunko,and others place where we can appreciate the work of our pre-Inca ancestors, hanging tombs and litho-models, returning with the respective stops of the villages from Maca and Yanque where we will stop in the thermal baths of Chacapi , we will return to the town of Chivay, we will have lunch and return to the city of Arequipa where we will arrive at approximately 05:30, 5:30 pm.
