As soon as we leave Barcelona we immerse ourselves in the Catalan countryside. The first stop is Girona (Game of Thrones?). A perfect mix of history, architecture, and…food! We will take a nice stroll through the narrow streets of the Old Town and the Roman Walls.
Right after we will move into the Catalan Countryside, we deserve to be surrounded by nature. The second stop is Peratallada, probably the most charming and less-known medieval village in the Empordà region. A nice stroll around and a few pictures later we will take you for lunch at Calella de Palafrugell, an old fishing village formed by several coves that still preserve the charm of the villages of the area, with narrow streets and some traditional two-floor fishermen’s dwellings.

This area of Catalonia is rich in water in the subsoil which makes it perfect for a variety of crops. We will cover a distance of about 25km which will take us to discover some of the best-preserved medieval villages in all of Spain. The peace and silence we will enjoy will make you forget about the hustle and bustle of Barcelona. We will make several stops along the way so you can explore the villages. After about two and a half hours of riding, we will return to the starting point, drop off the bikes and head to the Costa Brava in our van. We will leave you some free time to have lunch and relax in one of the most magical villages in all of Spain, Calella De Palafrugell.
