During your visit to Madeira, it is almost mandatory to take a sea tour to observe cetaceans. Its excellent location allows you to see these species throughout the year. Take a close look at some of the 28 species of cetaceans that inhabit or visit the waters of the Madeira Archipelago. On our boat trips, it is very common to find: The Common Dolphin (Delphinus delphis) The Painted Dolphin (Stenella frontalis) The Bottlenose Dolphin (Tursiops truincatu) The Sperm Whale (Physeter macrocephalus) The Pilot Whale (Globicephala macrorhynchus) Bryde's Whale (Balaenoptera edeni). In the turtle family, the Boba Turtle (Caretta caretta) is the most sighted. Come and observe these friendly cetaceans and make your trip a truly unforgettable experience!

Walking with a small company and with a very small group will make you enjoy this 4- to 5-hour activity on the Ponta de São Lourenço peninsula. The Ponta de São Lourenço Trail is a popular hiking trail located in Madeira, Portugal. It is situated at the easternmost point of the island and offers breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. The trail is approximately 8km long and takes around 3-4 hours to complete. The terrain is rocky and rugged, with steep inclines and declines, making it a moderately challenging hike. However, the stunning coastal scenery and diverse flora and fauna along the way make it a rewarding experience. In the end, we will find casa do Sardinha were we will relax, have a picnic and for the one who dares, take a  refreshing swim

DAY PACK at Ponta de São Lourenço will allow you to explore the unique wonders of this Nature Reserve in various ways and make the most of your day: – Kayak Experience – observe the beautiful caves up close and take beautiful photographs of the volcanic escarpments of Baía D'abra. – Snorkeling Experience – Be amazed by the fantastic underwater world at Cais do Sardinha, where you can see beautiful species of fish, maybe even octopus and cuttlefish, beautiful algae and sponges. If you're lucky you'll also be able to observe the very rare Monk Seal. – Our light sandwiches are made with the traditional Bolo do Caco bread and a selection of fresh fillings* **. – The Light House View Tour will be the icing on the cake. We will take you to the farthest end of Ponta de São Lourenço and dazzle you with our beautiful lighthouse before returning to Marina da Quinta do Lorde.

This experience includes two slots, although its recommended to do the sunrise slot (06.15am) to be able to witness an incredible experience. Guests will hike at their own pace, along the Atlantic Ocean, on a UNESCO Partial Reserve Hike. Its likely to encounter native terrain and sea species if weather allows. With pick up and drop of at accommodation (Funchal, Caniço, Santa Cruz and Machico, you will not have to worry about logistics, we will take care of everything for you. This experience can be enjoyed by families, friends, the younger or the the seniores, allowing guests to take in the nature, the norther views, the sea breeze and landscapes of a very different area of the Madeira Island. Not only you are able to enjoy a hike, you are also able to do water activities at the end of the 1st part of the hike – Cais do Sardinha area.
