After the collapse of the Lemp Brewing Empire, the Lemp Brewery lived on and became the largest shoe manufacturing plant in the world. Sold at auction to the International Shoe Company for 1/20th its value, the brewery remained a major industrial complex until it was forced to shut down due to the construction of Interstate 55. For the next 30 years, the brewery and its dark recesses sat quietly and were nearly forgotten until it was sold again in 1993. Even today, some underground tunnels and basements are still waiting to be rediscovered. During this tour, you will learn of the horrific events that occurred in the Lemp Brewery Bottle Works during these 30 years of silence. The visit to the Factory in Pedavena is a unique guided tour, developed in the middle of the main production departments of the brewery located in Pedavena. We start from the historic cooking room, to arrive in the horizontal fermentation cellars and halfway through the tour there will be a stop in the internal museum. Inside the latter there are documents, tools and historical photos that testify to our century-old tradition in beer production. Subsequently we will pass through the maturation and storage silos, to then continue towards the bottling department. The visit will end at the Bottega Dolomitica with the tasting of two beers from the Dolomiti range and there will be the opportunity to purchase the best typical local products.

You'll discover the answers to these questions and the secrets of our success when you visit the Griffin Brewery. We run 29 tours each week, all led by expert guides who aim to answer all your questions and give you a fascinating glimpse into British beer-making history. The tour lasts around one and a half hours and culminates with the highlight: a tutored tasting of some of Fuller’s finest ales.

The former Bruckmann Brewery complex in Cincinnati is one of the most complete 19th brewery sites in the country. Brewing began at this location in 1856 and continued for nearly 100 years. Most major components of the brewery are still in existence including the brewhouse, malthouse, bottling building, stables, family home, power plant, and the underground lagering cellars! After brewing operations ceased in 1950, much of the site was repurposed for other businesses including the Fountain Winery in the 1970s and the headquarters and production facility of the Worthmore Food Products Company, who specialized in producing Cincinnati style chili and mock turtle soup. This site has not been open to tours before and the Brewing Heritage Trail has put a lot of work into repairing the site, so that we can bring guests inside several of the buildings and into the underground lagering cellars. In fact, we will visit the barley and hops plantations, and then move inside the brewery where all the steps from cooking to bottling will be described accurately, all accompanied by the tasting of our beers.
