Start your adventure with hotel pickup in Santiago before an 8 a.m. departure. Enjoy a scenic drive to In Situ Family Vineyards, a family-owned winery in the Aconcagua Valley, where you'll relax and taste high-quality wines with the Andes Mountains as your backdrop. Next, head toward the Inca Lagoon, stopping along the way to interact with and photograph free-roaming llamas. A restroom stop is available if needed. Continue along a stunning mountain road to the Inca Lagoon, a breathtaking natural lake nestled in the Andes Mountains. Arrive at Portillo, South America's first ski resort, where you'll have free time to lunch at Portillo’s Restaurant and soak in the incredible views. We will depart from your hotel at 8:00 a.m. for a scenic drive through Chile's intermediate depression, offering stunning views of the Andes Mountains. On our way, we’ll pass the historic Chacabuco Monument, site of one of the most significant battles in Chile’s fight for independence (1817). We will then cross the international tunnel marking the regional boundary, where you’ll have a breathtaking view of Aconcagua, the highest peak in the Southern Hemisphere. Our first stop is the In Situ Vineyard in San Esteban, where you'll enjoy a tasting of premium local wines. Continuing our journey through Río Blanco, we’ll pass small villages, mining camps, and awe-inspiring mountain ranges before arriving at Portillo, home to the renowned Inca Lagoon. Take in the magnificent views while you have lunch (on your own) by the serene lagoon, surrounded by the beauty of the Andes. The tour concludes with a return to your hotel, arriving around 5:00 p.m.

Enjoying good things takes time. This tour is for you to enjoy each place without the rush of large groups. You'll be able to taste a special selection of organic wines from boutique wineries. We'll begin the trip after breakfast at the hotel. We'll take a luxury SUV with a small group. Depending on availability, we'll visit an incredible wine tasting (including three passengers or more). You can choose from a selection of red, white, and sparkling wines based on your preferences, along with a wine pairing board. We'll have time to get to know each other and plan the next stop. We recommend visiting a boutique winery (closed Sundays) where we'll chat with the winemaker and owner of the property, and learn about their exclusive production. For lunch, we have three options: 1. A local restaurant where the chef will delight us with his dishes. 2. Casas del Bosque. I recommend the Chilean empanadas. 3. A winery with a beautiful view at the top of the hill overlooking the valley.
