Complete Steam Bath Experience Plan Dropping Favorite Ingredients Into Hell-Eat Them and Go to Heaven. Afterwards, you will also have the opportunity to take a dip in the Jigokumushi steam yourself. This plan includes making a steamed dish, as well as steaming your own body. 'Dango noodle soup' is made by kneading wheat flour (or rice flour) with water, letting it rest for a while, then stretching and tearing the dough by hand before adding it to the soup. It's a hearty, wholesome dish made with local, seasonal vegetables such as 'taro' potato and burdock, then seasoned with miso or soy sauce. This is the only cooking class available in Beppu hosted within a century-old Japanese house – a truly 'local' experience!

Live music and live sounds are the basis. The sounds heard through a computer or tablet have their frequencies cut, and the sounds coming from the live sound are edited. This walking tour takes you along part of the Kyushu Saigoku Pilgrimage, a route with a 1,280-year history. The five-kilometer route, with an elevation difference of 200 meters, takes about 3 hours to complete on foot. During the tour, you'll gain deeper insights into Buddhism and Japanese life.
