Visit the most colorfull district of Peru, Barranco… Barranco is famous for its bridge of sights, its church and its path down to the beach. The district has a very interesting history, bohemian and artistic lifestyle, murals, street art. If you would like to explore the town for 2 hours and learn about the escense of the district, this is the perfect tour. We will meet by stasrbucks in Barranco and start our Barranco Tour by the main square talking about the district history and anecdotes. We will continue walking by the famous ''28 de Julio'' street, Here we will share the true meaning of the murals on the district, the murals can share so many stories that can blow your mind. Later, visit the "Bajada de Baños" street, a famous path down to the beach full of plants, trees, art and colors. Here you can cross the famous Bridge of Sights and pass by the Church ''La Hermita''. Starting from our module located at Alfredo Salazar Park, Larcomar – Miraflores, ride south along a delightful promenade to Barranco, a district known not only for its tourist attractions but also for being a bohemian district. Pedaling further south you will soon be in the district of Chorrillos, where you will visit its fishing terminal and the Grau promenade; there you will gaze its beaches and the bay of Lima.

Begin the tour in Barranco, Lima’s most bohemian suburb. We will see Barranco’s Central Park, its Municipal Library, the traditional Bridge of Sighs, the colonial homes and its famous boulevard. Next, we will drive down the South Pacific Coast Highway to Pachacamac, the most important ceremonial center in the Peruvian coast during pre-Inca and Inca times. Throughout the centuries Pachacamac was occupied by many different Andean civilizations such as the Lima’s, the Wari’s, the Ichma’s and finally by the Inca Empire. However, the Pachacamac Oracle always remained a religious center. We will see several pyramidal temples and enclosures from different time periods: the Adobitos & Old Temple (I C. A.D.), the painted Temple (VIII C. A.D.), a pyramid with a ramp (XIII C. A.D) & the Temple of the Sun (XV C. A.D.). Besides the ruins we will also visit an on-site museum displaying pottery, textiles, shell and stone ornaments, as well as the wooden Pachacamac idol found during excavations (1938)
