This is a relaxing 2-hour tour through the Cocoa Beach Thousand Islands behind Cocoa Beach. These are a chain of Mangrove Islands that are abundant with wild life. El Rincon is one of the most beautiful areas in the town La Orotava. Located at the spectacular and very green north coast of the Island Tenerife, it trends from the sea to the mountains of the Orotava-valley and offers wonderful views to the Teide vulcano as well as to the sea. Its climate is milder as in the rest of the valley because it is right at the coast, making it a preferred place for agriculture and nice, long walks. Following the principles of permaculture, Banana EcoPlantation's crops are of enormous biodiversity. On the farm there are more than 15 varieties of aromatic plants scattered over the surface of the plantation. We also plant oats in between our banana trees. This way we manage to create our own ecosystem and be 95% self-sufficient. The perfect activity for all those interested in experience first hand how we understand and live sustainability and the true agriculture of the future in one of Tenerife's most wonderful regions.

This trip is a 90 min. relaxing cruise through the Cocoa Beach Thousand Islands, we watch the beautiful sunset and return back to the restaurant. This is perfect for a romantic trip or large groups. The crew plays fun music! You will see wildlife along this journey. There is some narrative but the crew will be glad to answer any questions you may have and will point out animals and mammals along the way.

We will begin our jungle tour by giving our guests up close access to our large scale hand carved tiki collection made from Hawaiian Ohia wood. Our set of tikis is the largest collection of rain forest tikis in Hawaii. We then give guests up close access to our lava rock sculpture collection, including Mount Rastamore. We will next show and explain our tropical garden which features over 300 Hawaiian Hapuu ferns. We will then demonstrate banana cultivation techniques used to harvest our collection of over 150 apple banana trees. Next we will lead our guests into our outdoor art gallery featuring our latest exhibition. Guests will then be given the opportunity to use a hammer and chisel to carve a tiki. They will experience the Okina, an off grid structure made from recycled pallets. We will end up in our Tiki Tea Bar for a sample of refreshing banana green tea and guava green tea. Each guest also receives a free rainforest gift.
