Fishing tourism is a project that was born in 2017 whose objective is based on valuing the figure of the fisherman. An opening to the world of this ancient art. Since then, entrances to the fish market have been regulated so that only through this experience will you be able to attend a fish auction. First we will do a short historical introduction to this fishing municipality, which is also one of the most important in the area. Next we will explain the traditional fishing gear and the different types of professional fishing boats. After watching the arrival of the boats and the unloading of the catches, we will enter the fish market to attend a royal fish auction. The Ludwig Maximlian University, located directly at one of the entrances to the English Garden, is the perfect starting point for a rickshaw ride through the entire English Garden. The purpose of the tour is to introduce you to the city of Papeete and the island of Tahiti with a particular look at local life, history and culture of Polynesia. The knowledge and personal history of the Polynesian attendant makes this an atypical and personalized tour. The discovery of the city of Papeete will last approximately 1 hour, then you will have the choice of a 2-hours discovery of the East or West part of the urban area around Papeete. Have you ever wondered about Freemasonry, what it’s all about and what goes on, as well as what it looks like inside a Masonic Lodge – now you can find out. Freemasons have been operating in West Lancashire since as long ago as the 1640’s when the earliest account of admittance into Freemasonry is recorded into a lodge in Warrington. It is an intriguing thought that whilst Roundheads and Cavaliers were engaged in the bitter English Civil War, Freemasons were meeting in peace and harmony in this very Province. In 1857 Freemasons in Liverpool purchased a house on Hope Street known as the House in the Garden and began converting the property for the purpose of Freemasonry. Eventually, in 1872 plans were submitted to demolish the house and replace it with a Masonic Hall. The Cornerstone was laid with full Masonic honours and the building was finished in 1874 by which time Freemasonry had become so popular that an immediate decision was made to extend the building.
