Ran-Tong is devoted to rescuing abused elephants from all over Thailand and surrounding countries. Every elephant rescued is brought to the sanctuary in Chiang Mai and cared for with great passion and enthusiasm. Our mission is not only geared towards the protection and prevention of abused Elephants in Thailand but also to educate the public about their long history within Thai culture. Founded in 2009, Ran-Tong has rescued over 40 elephants to date with the help of public generosity, support, and private donation they can continue their ongoing vital work. Our priority is animal welfare. At Ran-Tong Save & Rescue Elephant Centre, you will completely get to learn a lot about elephants and have a memorable experience with them.

Phuket Elephant Sanctuary is the first and only ethical elephant sanctuary in Phuket where elephants roam around, bathe and sozialize freely across 30 acres of lush, tropical land bordering the Khao Phra Thaeo National Park in North East Phuket. Kuiburi National Park is the only place in Thailand where more than 320 protected wild elephants live and you will have the unique 95% opportunity to see them in this untouched wildlife. In addition to Asian elephants and gaurs, the other relatively common mammals are golden jackals, various deer, langurs, white-handed gibbons, Burmese hares, Malay porcupines and wild boars. Kui Buri has a rich fauna of birds with over 260 species currently. Crested falcons, grey peacock pheasants, ferrous partridges, Tickell's brown hornbills, white-crowned hornbills, brown fish owls, yellow-ventilated green pigeons, white-fronted dwarf-eared owls, mustache hawks, red-necked hornbills, blue-collared parrots, chestnut-nickel fork tails, red-bearded bee-eaters, maroon woodpeckers.There are also birds like the Crested Fireback, Indian Roller and Asian Openbill bird or even gaurs and leopards.

Owned and managed by a former elephant rider (Mahout), while We was established in 2012, my family's involvement with elephants spans over four generations. Before the center, I worked as an elephant rider at the Amber Palace for nine years, providing riding tours to tourists. However, I yearned for something more meaningful for the elephants and sought to dispel misconceptions about their treatment. Driven by this desire, I founded the Rehabilitation Center to provide insight into the lives of Asian elephants and to counter misconceptions about their mistreatment.
