Leave Colmar for the Alsace countryside and visit some of the most beautiful villages of the area. Begin your tour in Kaysersberg with a guided walking tour and some free time for personal discovery. You will be charmed by its half timbered houses, its beautiful city center and its Imperial Castle in rubble. Then follow the Alsace wine route and stop along the way for great photo opportunities. Arrive in Riquewihr for a guided waking tour of the magnificent small town. From there reach Hunawihr, one of the most beautiful villages of France know for it numerous artisan shops and multiple cultural landmarks. Return to Colmar.

Maison ZEYSSOLFF is one of the few wineries in Alsace with some twenty century-old oak foudres, each with a capacity of 10,000L, still in use for the vinification of its wines. Its greatest curiosity is the ZEYSSOLFF barrel, made in 1897 for the Paris Universal Exhibition (1900). This barrel is still in use today. The immersive experience, with projections on the barrels and sound work, is unique in France. Children are welcome on the tour, which is suitable for all ages. Our estate is farmed organically. Our first stop is the enchanting village of Eguisheim. Stroll through its narrow streets, admire the colorful half-timbered houses and soak up its medieval atmosphere. Then we head to Kaysersberg, another Alsatian pearl. Let yourself be amazed by its traditional architecture, its fortified bridge and its rich heritage. We will take a short break at the Sigolsheim Necropolis where you will have a panorama of the Alsace Wine Route. The next destination is Riquewihr, famous for its medieval charm. You will have free time to have lunch there. Then, we will visit the majestic Château du Haut-Koenigsbourg. Entrance to the castle is included in our tour, allowing you to explore the different rooms, wander the courtyards and admire the architectural beauty of this medieval fortress. Our last stop will take us to a winegrower where you can taste the fine wines of Alsace.

The Alsace Wine Museum is the gateway to the vineyards and the Alsace Wine Route. Your journey will start on a train to take you through the vineyard. You will discover the cultivation of vines through the seasons, as well as the richness of Alsatian soils that give wines of character: the 7 Alsatian grape varieties. You will then discover the professions around wine in Alsace, with the winemaker and his work in the cellar, the cooper, the glassmaker, the corkmaker, the illustrator or the teacher. A place where you can initiate your senses through an olfactory experience. A place to have fun with your family through a fun route. The oenologist will explain how to taste and discover all the aromas of wine, through a tasting of 3 grape varieties for adults and 3 grape juices for the little ones. Our chefs will also explain all the food / wine pairings around Alsatian gastronomy.
