We start from Seville, to the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park in the province of Cádiz, where one of the most rainy places in the entire Iberian Peninsula is concentrated. Our first destination will be Zahara de la Sierra; In this beautiful white town we will have a short space of time to walk through its streets, and admire the nearby towns of the Sierra We continue towards Setenil de las Bodegas, where we will admire its houses carved into the rock, enjoy its wines and appreciate its rich gastronomy . Our last destination is the majestic Ronda, of Celtic origin and also considered one of the oldest cities in the West. We will walk on foot the most emblematic places; the Alameda del Tajo, the Plaza de Toros, and the Puente Nuevo. We will also have enough time to continue seeing its monuments, its commercial area, and choose the most suitable place to enjoy a pleasant lunch in the many bars and restaurants it offers us.


Etna and Alcantara Gorges Excursion


Discover Etna and the Alcantara Gorges! The perfect mix of adventure and refreshing relax! The excursion begins by SUV or minivan (up to 8 people), together with our experienced guides. Our first stop is an off-road trip to the 2002 eruption lava fron. Continuing along the Via Mareneve, in the middle of the Ragabo pine forest, we will arrive at the starting point of our trekking to the Monti Sartorius craters. We will continue on foot, starting at 1650 metres and arriving at an altitude of 1750 metres, an easy walk suitable for everyone. We will then explore a lava flow cave, the Grotta dei Ladroni, equipped with helmets and torches. We will stop at a local chalet or restaurant for lunch (included in the price: a first course, drink and coffee). After lunch, we will reach the characteristic Alcantara Gorges, also known as the Larderia Gorges. A refreshing and relaxing visit to a wonderful place. You can cool off in the Alcantara river in the middle of the canyon of the Gorges!


Mount Etna and Alcantara Gorges from Taormina


Leave Taormina and ride around Mount Etna by coach and by a 1950s-era train on the Circumetnea Railway (the train is not operative during winter time and will be substituted by the coach and a visit of Randazzo town). This exciting day trip also includes visit of the rock pools and canyons of Alcantara Gorges (entrance own expense) and the foothills of Sicily’s vivacious volcano. If you want to see Mount Etna’s smouldering upper craters, upgrade (extra) to include transport by cable car and jeeps and a walking tour to the summit craters. Note that from November to March, the tour does not include the train ride nor the optional upgrade to the upper areas. A visit of Randazzo town is provided in substitution. A minimum number of 12 participants is necessary during winter.

This tour shows the essence of Andalusia, the whitewashed villages and the capital of Romanticism, Ronda. The oldest bullfight arena and a knight museum are the highlights of the city together with the "new" bridge, that links both sides of the city. It is a full day tour, but you won't be back to the Costa del sol too late as the roads are quite good and distances are affordable. The visit of the bullring and the Royal Master Knights museum are not included, together with a licensed guide to assure your have the right knowledge of the visited places of Ronda. We visit Casa Museo Don Bosco and the walking tour of the city.


Etna Wine and Alcantara


Explore Mount Etna on tour from Catania! You will be introduced to the landscapes and geology of the Volcano from our naturalistic and passionate guide. Etna Alcantara tour: the majestic lava landscape


Etna Alcantara tour is the experience to discover two totally different types of lava landscapes. The first part of the day will take you to the northern side of Mt. Etna at 6500 ft above sea level. Here you will learn about the stages that led to the origin of Mt. Etna and the different types of volcanic activities all hiking up to the edge of some of the extinct craters formed by ancient eruptions. In the second part of the Etna Alcantara tour, you will visit the Alcantara Valley where the Alcantara River has shaped the famous basaltic lava canyon formed by prehistoric lava flows of Mount Etna. Here you will spend some times by the River, having the possibility to go in the cold water, admiring outstanding geological formations. Don't forget to bring with you: sunscreen, hat, hiking shoes.
