Hello I am Alvaro and together we will begin this journey to the world of mezcal, our tour begins by heading to my picturesque town called Mitla surrounded by beautiful mountains and agaves, for my family and for me Mezcal is more than a drink, it is part of our culture, motivated to share with you my culture and our traditions, we will tour the agave fields with majestic landscape to know more of them and know why we find mezcals with different flavors, photos and laughter will not miss, after, we will go to my family's distillery to know step by step the process of elaboration and the passion with which it is made, we will conclude by tasting different varieties of mezcal along with a delicious and authentic Oaxacan food. Throughout the tour I will be attentive to your needs, my goal is that you feel at home and make your trip through the mezcal an unforgettable memory.

Our time together begins outside the famous Glastonbury Abbey. From there, we will follow the old pilgrims path to the Scared Thorn tree of Joseph of Arimathea.  Your journey then proceeds on a mysterious path along Faerie lanes, through the Jesus field and on to the Orchards of Avalon. This is where we ask permission to enter the sacred enclosure. Then we head to the very top of the Tor itself. On the summit, your guide tells the tale of Saints, Kings and the Faerie folk who dwell there. At the top of the Tor you are left to sit in silence for a moment to embrace the healing energy of this holy place. After that we come together in a healing ceremony, connecting in circle to share our thoughts, to say what you felt or to just BE!  On our way down to the White Spring, the candle lit water-chapel beneath the Tor, I leave you at the the Chalice Well Gardens World heritage site.

The activity consists of an interactive cooking class where we will prepare a typical Apulian lunch together. We will provide you with an apron each and all the utensils to get your hands in the dough and learn every step and secret of our traditional recipes. Together with my husband Stefano we open the doors of our country house to teach you the Apulian cooking techniques that you can easily replicate at home. We will learn together to select the ingredients of our land according to the season, and while preparing the dishes we will tell you their history and that of typical products and local traditions. Afterwards we will enjoy lunch or dinner with a starter and concluding with a dessert, the classic tiramisu that we will prepare together. It will be an experience that you will carry with you forever, through which we want to transmit our passion for slow living, good food, nature and the products that every day offers us.
