The SSI Advanced Adventurer course gives you a chance to sample various specialty courses if you haven’t found the ones you want to take. This course has 5 dives including a deep dive, which means that after this course you can dive down to a maximum of 30 meters. The Advanced Adventurer takes 2-3 days depending on the conditions and the dives you want to do. Our recommendation for your SSI Advanced Adventurer Course Dives: Perfect Buoyancy: Improve your buoyancy control is the basis for all diving. Navigation: Learn to plan your dives and finding your way back to the boat under water. Deep: Dive your plan, and you will be certified to dive to a maximum of 30 meters. Wreck: Go explore the HTMS Sattakut wreck and learn the basics of wreck diving! Night: When the sun sleep the nocturnal marine life emerges. Enjoy a different world!

Under the guidance of a PADI Instructor, you will explore various specialties, log dives, and cultivate expertise, discovering new dimensions of enjoyment in scuba diving. Each Adventure Dive undertaken may contribute towards the initial dive of a corresponding PADI Specialty Diver Course. If you have previously completed a specialty diver course before the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course, you can also receive credit for an Adventure Dive. Aspiring (Junior) Open Water Divers, aged 12 and above, are eligible to enroll in the Advanced Open Water Diver course, with certain Adventure Dives tailored for young divers.

We receive PADI Professional Image Evaluation certificate on March 2019, as our achievements has meet PADI's requirement as dive center run padi professional PADI scuba instructors. 3. Learn scuba diving in small group. 1 scuba instructor will teach maximum 4 participants in a group. 4. We use original PADI manual book, original PADI theory DVD and all our instructors hold professional teaching license as PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor. 5. Our dive center location is close to the jetty, about 2-4 minutes walk. We also close to ATM machines for you to withdraw money, restaurants, hotels, banks, pharmacy, backpackers and tourists information center. 6. Our team speaks in English, Chinese and Malay. 7. You try out different specialties while gaining experience under the supervision of your PADI Instructor. At our UNAWATUNA DIVING CENTRE we have around 16 different Dive Sites with different depth from 6 to 30 m we offer Reef Dives, Rock Dives, Wreck Dives and Night Dives. Hard and soft corals are at the most reef dive sites up to 18 m unfortunately rare. At the reefs you can find a lot of macro staff, many different nudibranchs, different coral fish of the Indian Ocean, Sting Rays on the sandy bottom. At the deeper Unawatuna Dive Sites, there are mostly rocky areas with deep valleys to explore. Close to the Galle harbor dive sites there are our wreck dive sites on a sandy ground with the famous "Rangoon" Wreck on a depth of 30 m, the SS Oreste on a depth of 22 m and the Galle Ship Wreck with a depth of 18 m. The most soft corals and fish live at the two deeper wrecks. Mostly there are hundreds and thousand of Sweet Lips and different other fish.

This course is all about becoming a more proficient diver –you’ll have an opportunity to expand your scuba experience, learn new skills and build-on existing ones. Alongside your PADI Instructor, you’ll experience deep diving, fine-tune your buoyancy and increase your navigation skills, allowing you to become more comfortable and confident underwater. In addition to your deep dive, you will also complete three specialty (Adventure) dives of your choosing, allowing you to sample a range of specialty diving interests. Diving Specialty Options Include: Enriched Air Nitrox, Deep, Fish Identification, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Search & Recovery and Wreck Diver. Each specialty dive you complete will earn you credit towards the PADI specialty certifications.
