Just three miles from the birth place of founder John Dewar, the Aberfeldy Distillery is the only distillery built by the Dewar family. Your experience includes a distillery tour and access to the atmospheric warehouse where you can hear about the angels’ share and how the whisky is double aged for a richer smoother flavour. Also included is the heritage centre offering a unique insight into founders; John Dewar and his sons Tommy and John Alexander.  You will end the tour in one of our tasting rooms to enjoy a comparative tasting of our Dewar's Blended Scotch and our Aberfeldy Single Malt. Enjoy a dram (over 18s only) in the whisky lounge with comfy sofas and warming fire as well as free wifi. 

Go rafting on a half-day adventure down the River Tay in Scotland. Groups are of various sizes and ages (children aged over 8 years) from Aberfeldy to Grandtully in this perfect introductory river. A thrilling white water rafting experience, groups are accompanied by experienced guides. You can expect adventure, excitement and guaranteed fun! River Tay rafting trips are available mornings and afternoons throughout the year except Mondays and Tuesdays (these are dedicated fishing days). We provide all equipment (wetsuit, lifejacket, helmet, paddle) and transport If trips do not reach minimum numbers you will be offered a reschedule.

Stand Up Paddle Boarding is an off shot of traditional surfing which originated in Hawaii. A fairly new sport that has blossomed over the last few years, which has seen the sport diverge from the sea to the river. There are even people doing Stand Up Paddle Board yoga!! On every Stand Up Paddle Boarding  trip we include all equipment required plus a professional experienced guide per raft combined with an overall trip leader in charge of the trip.

There is nothing more exciting and exhilarating to get your pulses racing than Paintballing with Splash. A team sport, Perthshire Paintball provides the perfect atmosphere and location for the perfect team building exercise. This activity caters to all experience levels from beginners to veteran paintballers. We offer a range of exciting paintball games you can compete in, and our dedicated team of trained staff will make sure your day is tailored to your specific requirements. Ensure you bring sturdy footwear (e.g trainers or walking boots) – be aware that they may get muddy!

Join Managing Partner Becky as she feeds Errichel’s animal residents. A super way to find out more about Errichel's ethically-reared animals and its 'slow food' ethos, you will meet and feed Large Black Pigs, Rare-breed Sheep (bottle-feed lambs in season), Shetland Cattle, Highland Ponies, an assortment of Chickens, and many ducks! The tour is totally unique in our area, and takes place on our beautifully scenic Hill-farm near the picturesque town of Aberfeldy. Also onsite are our Deli, where you can purchase farm produce, foodie treats, and ice creams, and our Bistro, where you can enjoy brunch, lunch, or just coffee and cake. Our Farm Tour & Feed Round takes place at 10am on Fridays and Saturdays and lasts about an hour. Booking by 4pm the day before your tour is required. There is a maximum of eight spaces available, so book now to avoid disappointment.

Let us know what you want to do. The distilleries ask for a small fee for entry. Choose a mix of whisky tastings and distillery tours. Fantastic and entertaining tales from each distillery from local experts who know their whisky. Message us to pick your own itinerary or let us create it for you with your requirements. Travel in comfort in an air-conditioned vehicle with a reliable driver who can point out sights on the way and provide assistance all day. We will have 45 to 60 minutes for lunch at a Scottish style pub or Inn depending on your requirements.

Follow in our founders footsteps and learn the art of the Master Blender. There can be up to 40 different whiskies that go into a blend and in our session we have 5 whiskies for you to nose and blend to create your own special recipe. You will create your own style and make a 100ml bottle of your own blend to take away. 30 minute sensory session on the art of blending 30 minute session creating your own blend 100ml bottle of your own blended Scotch Whisky to take home Also included is the heritage centre offering a unique insight into founders; John Dewar and his sons Tommy and John Alexander.  NOTE: A Production Tour is NOT included with this experience.
